2-Jan Bidwell Park 8:00am (check in) 9:00am (start)
This will be Individual Handicap Tournament play.
16-Jan Tuscan Ridge 8:00am (check in) 9:00am (start)
This will be a 4 man Scramble, make up your own teams or Mike will.
3 drives min. / 6 drives max. (ALL WILL PLAY FROM RED TEES)
FEBRUARY
6-Feb Bidwell Park 8:00am (check in) 9:00am (start)
This will be a 2 man Scramble--9 drives each.
20-Feb Tuscan Ridge 8:00am (check in) 9:00am (start)
This will be a 4 man team / score the 2 best balls net. Teams to be made up by

MARCH
5-Mar Canyon Oaks 7:45am (check in and breakfast) 9:00am (start)
This will be a SIR / guest tournament open to all SIR golfers and their guests.
Guests must have an established GHIN handicap. The format will be 4 person
two best ball net.
Cost will include golf, cart, range balls, breakfast and finger food at conclusion
of round. (REMEMBER NO DENIM PANTS OF ANY KIND)
19-Mar Bidwell Park 8:00am (check in) 9:00am (start)
This will be a two man modified chapman. Each person drives and then you play the other persons ball for rest of the hole.
APRIL
2-Apr Tuscan Ridge 8:00am (check in) 9:00am (start)
This will be a 2 man / 1 best ball net. Make up your own teams or Mike will.
16-Apr Canyon Oaks 7:45am (check in and breakfast) 9:00am (start)
This will be an SIR / Guest tournament, 4 man / one best ball net play, open to
any SIR or guest with a GHIN. Cost will include golf, cart, range balls
breakfast and finger food at conclusion of round.

Two man one best ball net . PLAY from the Forward Tees
21-May Table Mountain 7:00am (check in) 8:00am (start)
This will be a 4 man scramble ALSO AREA 12 SIR
state team Qualifier for Poppy Ridge
( 4 man scramble format using SIR handicapping for the qualifier.
A additional $9 entry fee for those who wish to try and you must have a
SIR GHIN. (extra money to pay for team entry fee)
JUNE
4-Jun Table Mountain 7:00am (check in) 8:00am (start)
This will be a individual tournament using the Stableford scoring system. Using
the NET score on each hole a player gets the following:
(minus 1 for a double bogie),(minus 3 for a triple bogie or more).
(5 points for a eagle), (3 points for a birdie), (1 point for a par), (0 for a bogie),

This will be a individual handicap tournament.
(this is the week of the Paradise SIR trip to Reno 6/18 to 6/22)
JULY

This will be a 2 man Scramble format with Alternating drives. ALSO
AREA 12 SIR state individual Qualifier
16-Jul Canyon Oaks C.C. 7:45:am(check in and breakfast) 9:00am start
This will be a SIR / Guest Tournament and the format will be
2 person teams, 1 best ball net format. Open to all SIR members and guests.

This will be a four man scramble, three drives minimum per person and six drives
net maximum . Pay off for best front 9 hole score net and best back nine hole score
6-Aug State Scramble Team Championship

20-Aug Table Mountain 7:00am (check in ) 8:00am (start)
This will be a two man scramble , 9 drives each. Choose your own buddy!
SEPTEMBER
6-Sep ( THIS IS A THURSDAY)

Golf, Cart , raffle prize and Breakfast prize fund cost to be determined.
OCTOBER
1-Oct Canyon Oaks C.C. 7:45:am(check in and breakfast) 9:00 am (start)
This will be our 2nd two man team All Comers Turkey Shoot. 25 two man SIR
Total net score for each team match play. Cost will include golf, cart, prize
fund, turkey certificates and breakfast.
teams from Area 23 will take on 25 other two man SIR teams from any other area

This will be an individual format.
10-23& 24 State Individual Championship at
LAGUNA SECA GC
(open play to any SIR on a first sign up basis)
NOVEMBER
7-Nov Tuscan Ridge 8:00am (check in) 9:00am (start)
This will be our 3nd Annual “ X-MAS SURPRISE” tournament, Member/Guest.
Open to all SIR members and any guests with established GHIN handicap.
15-Nov Annual Golf Breakfast
for all RIDGE SIR Golfers .
Site to be determined by number of people
19-Nov Table mountain 8:00am(check in) 9:00am (start)
This will be a 4 man modified scramble, with each person driving on alternate
holes. Each team will choose the order before the starting their first hole.
DECEMBER
3-Dec Bidwell Park 8:00am (check in) 9:00am (start)
This will be a 2 man team Chapman event using the alternate 2nd. ball format.
This Schedule is subject to change but gives you the dates and the places we have arranged for tournaments for the year 2012. Final types of games are changeable at the whim and fancy of your golf chairman but your Branch Chairman will advise.

I always need to know if you want to play an event at least 8 days prior to the event as we have to notify the golf course the number of players that will attend so we have enough holes reserved and /or golf carts required.
Make all checks payable to SIR golf and mail or give to your branch golf chairman.
